This magical puzzle box was hand- and laser-crafted at Heartwood Creations in Rockford, Illinois. One of a very large line of wooden boxes, from very small up to large jewelry box size, Heartwood continually amazes with their innovative creations.

The box is made from hardwoods — maple and walnut. The large maple leaf inlaid in the walnut top creates an especially attractive design.

This box locks in a secret way. I’ve included a picture of the instructions, which are found on the bottom of the box. Once you learn how to open it, you can peel off the instructions. A gravity pin box, you will find this one to be quite easy to open, once you know the secret.

The box measures 6-1/4 inches long, and 3-1/2 inches wide at its widest point. It stands 2-1/2 inches tall. Inside the box, the bottom is lined with black velvet.
