Carved Stone Bead Earrings; Crystal, Gemstones On Gold Wires

I wish someone could tell me about these beads. The large round bead at the top has a brownish-green sheen. Designs are carved into the bead, perhaps by hand, as the designs on the two beads appear different. Below the bead dangle two gold wires. One has a small crystal bead, and both have small tube-shaped green beads. Someone suggested emeralds? I am not sure. However, the combination is quite striking.

These earrings hang from long gold ear wires — Again, not sure if they are true gold or something else. You could be acquiring a tremendous bargain with this pair.

The earrings measure 1-3/4 inches from where they attach to the gold French hooks. Wish I could give you more information, but at least I can say they are unique and very handse.
