I had to search to find this gemstone bead — In Etsy I found a picture of “Ruby Gold Brown Quartz Smooth Round Beads.” The picture is a match. Above this very handsome bead is a small grey pearl, creating dangle earrings on silver wires in a most attractive combination.

Small fluted silver washers separate the two beads, and a small silver bead is located just at the base of the earwire.

Measuring from below the wire, these earrings come to 7/8 inch long.

The pearl and bead coloring create a rich and effective mix.
