Cat Klinkert: Lampwork Pendant, Cloisonne And Glass Beads

From the artistry of Alaskan artist Cat Klinkert of Cool Cat Creations comes this necklace, christened “Tickled Pink.” Some beautiful beads form this gorgeous necklace, and you will surely receive many admiring comments when you wear it.

The centerpiece of the necklace is a large teardrop-shaped lampwork bead, displaying a pink-petaled flower in the glass. This handmade bead was created by blowing molten glass over a flame. The glass was then formed to create the unique flower shape.

Other beads in this one-of-a-kind creation include two unique flowered cloisonne beads and a collection of miscellaneous glass beads, showing some amazing handicraft in themselves. The predominant pink color is accented with beads of sea-green, purple, and two with an outer raised gold design around pink and green glass.

The lampwork teardrop bead measures 1-3/4 inches from top to bottom. Total length of the necklace when doubled, including the lampwork focal point is 12 inches, forming a 24-inch necklace.

Please note: After I listed this piece, I discovered that one green glass bead was missing, creating a slightly asymmetric design. If you purchase it, you have two choices: Leave it the way it is or very carefully break the green glass bead on the other side. Personally, I’d leave it the way it is, but your choice.
