Here are some sweet post earrings. The flower and leaves are inlaid shell. A gold leaf and stems on the plant shine on the black background. The design is set in a silver backing, though there is no sterling mark. The scalloped edge gives the whole earring the shape of a flower.

Their origin is unknown. The circular earring has a radius that measures 3/4 inch. Posts are surgical steel. Earring backs should probably be replaced, as they are not metal, but rubber.
