Pear-Shaped Silver Earrings, Sterling French Hook Wires

This pair of earrings came in on a trade, and I have no information about their origin. The earrings are formed of a silver metal that could be sterling, but I can find no identifying marks.

The French hook ear wires are sterling.

These pear-shaped silver earrings are the kind that will go with anything. They could go well with a casual outfit or a more severe work outfit. They are very light-weight, so are undoubtedly hollow.

The “pear” measures 3/4 inch long. The bulbous end measures approximately 1/2 inch wide at its base, and tapers to a point at the other end.
